"The Marching Pride"
The Marching Band is the musical “face” of Franklin County High School. Membership in this ensemble requires strenuous physical exercise and the ability to perform musical literature while in motion. This ensemble meets after school from July through November and performs at football games, parades, various community events, and marching band competitions. For instrumentalists in this ensemble, they are required to remain in a band class (Symphonic Band or Concert Band) in the fall and spring semesters. While high school course-load can be demanding of students, commitment to the band program is necessary for excellent performance. Students not registered for a band class will not be allowed to participate in marching band. There is a fee associated with participation in this ensemble.
